Crazy color how long does it last

I thought these colours were supposed to fade not completely wash out Sorry this is super long, please help me out if you can!! Joined Jul 7, Messages Reaction score 51 Location surrey. I'm not a hairdresser but my hairdresser lightened my hair up with bleach so I could go down the line of the pastel purples etc looked beautiful at first after first wash went blue second wash green!!

I quickly learnt to steer clear of purples! I now do pinks and I have to literally colour it before I wash it each time if I wanna keep the colour xx Should add i use the crazy colours. I'd just add I'd rather it wash out than stain the hair cuticle, just keep using the colour mixed into conditioner go a little bit more vibrant as it will dilute abit on your hair and once you rinse it off x you could pre mix a conditioner with the colour and retail to your client for upkeep?

Crazy colour is rubbish nowadays compared to other direct dyes. It used to have staying power but after the original company was bought out, they changed the formula and in my opinion, ruined it. Some suggestions to help longevity assuming you're not overly concerned about possible staining! Try using a different brand such as Directions, Joico, Manic Panic etc. In my experience, the purple tints in these brands do not fade out too green.

Ensure the hair is squeaky clean and has no conditioner or other silicone type residue on it. Apply the direct dye to virtually dry hair and leave for at least 30 minutes. Rinse it with just warm not hot water. I still find that most direct dyes benefit from a second application to seal them in. Plus, I offer my clients a coloured conditioner to help top up the vibrancy between appointments. Last edited: Jun 28, Joined Jul 26, Messages Reaction score Location canada. Bella93xox said:. But, what makes us think even more was the end, because after the old woman passes, the camera shows photos of her at different times in her life.

Moments that showed her living her life to the fullest. And we made a promise to each other then: that we would do the same. We would never stop wanting to try new things, going further and further, and being different even if it made us stand out.

So, of course, as you can imagine, I told her that we could both dye our hair with the dye, except that I would dye mine ruby red. What was the difference? Why did my color last almost twice as long as hers? Do it! Try the best Crazy Color dyes! Check Crazy Color price on Amazon. It changed the way we took care of ourselves and how other people saw us and even how we saw ourselves. And the change was absolutely positive.

Before I dyed it, I washed my hair every day because when I got into the shower, I preferred to just wash it rather than putting on a shower cap. But when my hair turned ruby red, that changed. Now I only wash my hair two times a week. And, of course, I only use shampoos specifically designed for dyed hair. Use dry shampoo! If your answer is yes, good for you! Because cold water will be your closest ally in maintaining your dye.

Can you guess why? If you're lucky, it'll fade to a still-awesome color. If you're less than lucky, it'll look like you spent all day soaking your 'do in chlorine. Your pillowcase and towels will never be the same again. When your hair is freshly dyed, it'll bleed color for the next few washes.

Keep your wet hair away from anything white, especially your favorite t-shirts. So much blood red everywhere. Buy some bleach and get a'scrubbbing unless you want to lose your security deposit. This is especially painful in the winter. Eventually you'll give up and get touch-ups more often rather than face one more freezing shower.

This is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, you have more time to sleep in instead of showering in the morning. On the other hand, dry shampoo only goes so far. These are especially important if you're dyeing your hair at home. It takes an eternity to get dye off stained hands, and even styling your wet hair can leave tinges of color behind on your skin and nail beds.
