It is very cold there and while waving your arms about to get warm, people would notice them. Last edited by Foucault; 17th January at Fair enough : I'd still argue that it applies universally tho. I think something like this. Once again the watches pale into insignificance.
Who cares how many watches you're wearing, people do far weirder stuff. Maybe we should start an "international two watch day" where on a Friday, everyone takes a pic of them wearing at least two.
Might even be tomorrow if everyone's snowed in! Only when going to a gtg. One on each wrist and one in each pocket. I was in India for almost six months a couple of years ago and wore two watches for most of the time there as I couldn't get my head round the 30 minute time zone and most GMTs don't really handle this very well either. Die Zeit verwandelt uns nicht, sie entfaltet uns nur. And you didn't use the old colonial officers' trick of looking at your watch upside down to see the time back home?

Check out how many Nicolas G. Hayek often wears. Flyboys I know more than a couple of pilots who wear two watches when they're flying. Always good to have a back-up to the dashboard instrument in case that goes TU I probably couldn't cope with it - not based on how pants it'd look, but I know that I'd fail to set both watches at exactly the same time, so one arm would always be slow.
You are weird mate I've done it a couple of times round the house purely to wound them a bit when unworn, but not in public.
It just looks like wearing 2 wrong shoes a red mocassin and a running trainer ,,,not a pretty sight. Originally Posted by Optimum. You're weird. Then, when I was going through one of my even more OCD than usual phases, I wore a quartz on my left wrist and an auto that I wanted to check on the right.
I ended up checking nearly all of my autos this way over several months. No one I know batted an eyelid as they all know I'm very strange. I've had a colleague that did it for the purpose of tracking a second TZ, instead of having a GMT watch. Quite cool I thought, but since he only did it for pure functionality it removed a bit of the 'coolness' for me.

If that is the reason we have hands, and the only reason, then I must assume we should be wearing two watches instead of one, and Morrissey is just a country mile ahead of the world. I'm so very sickened. Ohhh, I am so sickened now. Stop me if you've It's just a matter of time I would never in a million years have considered him a panerai man! I suppose you just have to take morrissey for what he is. He likes to shock and, as with all celebs who like to shock, he's got himself a self-appointed cause. Nothing new there. And like all the celebrity do-gooders out there, he still manages to cover himself with luxury goods in a world where cute puppy dogs are eaten in poor countries and children starve.
Thats the nature of the game - we live in a world where spiritual leaders wear more bling than drug dealers and billionaire actors and recording artists visit famine victims while wearing watches that would feed the entire region for a year!
But who are we to judge them? Its morrisseys money and thats a nice watch!! Originally Posted by barneygumble. He used to wear a ladies' watch in the '80s. Loved the Smiths. It means nothing to me, oh wait, that was Midge Ure.
He's worn panerai for a few years now, doesn't seem to have a huge collection as that's the one he wears mostly. Originally Posted by Argee
